BlackBerry enable your O2 sim card (by calling O2) and get this classic green screen BlackBerry off line.

The easiest way to describe the BlackBerry 5820 is to call it an enhanced pager. The hardware is standard PDA size, and it incorporates a pickboard-style keypad, jog dial button and 'Esc' key equivalent. Its main task is to deliver emails to you, wherever you are - a function it accomplishes in the UK thanks to GPRS technology, provided by RIM's UK partner, mmo2.

As well the BlackBerry 5820's ability to receive emails, you can send replies, and the device handles SMS messages. Other built-in software includes an address book, diary, task list manager, memo pad, calculator and alarm features, plus you can add third-party software.

It is light and portable, and because it is always on there is no need for end users to do anything other than react to it when it beeps to alert you of a message arriving
