OPTION GLOBESURFER ICON II - 7.2MBPS - Specification Overview The Option Globesurfer II 7.2 put simply is a wireless broadband entry point that allows multiple WiFi devices to connect to the internet or a network without the need for fixed network access. Place a SIM in the Globesurfer II 7.2 and it will connect to your service providers 3G or GPRS network. There is also a single Ethernet port so if any of the party does not have WiFi connectivity they can still connect. Another interesting feature is that by plugging a standard telephone set into the unit using an analogue RJ11 cable or converter you can then make telephone calls across the mobile network through the unit.
